Private Projects

Private construction projects are governed by Chapter 713, Florida Statutes, and are those which are not on land owned by federal, state, or municipal government. Private projects are owned by individuals or organizations, and can be anything ranging from residential to commercial to industrial. These projects can be non-bonded, meaning that if you are not paid and properly preserve your rights, you may have a right to lien the property. Bonded projects will have one or more payment bonds which can provide further protection and avenues to secure your payment. On certain private projects, you may have a right to pursue both a lien and a payment claim against the surety's payment bond. No matter which type of project you are working on or furnishing materials to, ZinDocs can help you get paid. If you don't know whether you are working on a non-bonded or bonded project, have no fear, ZinDocs is here!

To preserve your right to record a claim of lien or to make a claim against a payment bond via a notice of nonpayment, you must first serve a notice to owner/contractor. If you remain unpaid, you may have a right to record a lien and to serve a notice of nonpayment if a payment bond exists. ZinDocs can provide you with all of these services and more. Learn about each service and place an order by previewing our private project service offerings below or call 727-483-9844 or e-mail info@zindocs.com for further information.
