Our Nation Is Under Attack (July 15, 2024)

Our nation is under attack. The attack comes from within, but it comes not from Democrats or Republicans, but from within ourselves. We The People are a nation founded under God, yet we have lost, or chosen to ignore, His teachings. We allow others, be they politicians, news, or social media, to incite the worst in us. We call them the devil and blame them for causing us to eat the proverbial apple, yet we never look inward at ourselves. We never stop to consider basic tenets of morality, or even the commands from on high. 

Our nation is under attack because We The People are listening to the devil’s call. We shout when we should listen; we hurt when we should heal; we hate when we should love. The devil calls each of us to evil. Will you listen, or will you defy the honey he pours in your ear? Will you stand by and watch others be lured to the evils of the day, or will you compassionately make your voice heard? Will you be the sea of calm during the storm?

Our nation is under attack. Our 45^th President and Presidential candidate was shot, along with other innocents at what should have been a peaceful rally.  The devil calls on us now to shout, to hurt, and to hate, but there is a better way to fight for what is right. Team Z prays for Donald J. Trump and those injured and killed Saturday. We pray for the soul of our nation. We pray for the souls of each of us in this great country, that we may remain One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
