Federal Projects

Federal projects are governed by 40 U.S.C. § 3131, et. seq. (known as the Federal Miller Act), and are those which are not on land owned by a private individual, company, or a state or municipality, but rather, are owned by the federal government. Federal projects can be anything ranging from roads and bridges to utilities to office to military, and everything in between. These projects can be non-bonded if they are small (generally under $100,000), but most are bonded, meaning that if you are not paid and properly preserve your rights, you may have a right to be paid by the payment bond surety. Bonded projects will have one or more payment bonds which can provide further protection and avenues to secure your payment. No matter which type of project you are working on or furnishing materials to, ZinDocs can help you get paid. Payment bond claims are made through a notice to contractor/notice of non-payment where a pre-suit notice is required. Don’t know how to go about making your payment bond claim? Have no fear, ZinDocs is here!

Place an order for a notice to contractor/notice of non-payment or call 727-483-9844 or e-mail info@zindocs.com for further information.
