Let us speak plainly to you (to use a phrase you so frequently use when lecturing us). Yes, we seek to take this country backwards. Backwards to the principals reflected in our great Constitution. A Constitution created to protect the people who rule their government, not a government that attempts to rule the people. A Constitution created to ensure that we would never again suffer under the boot heel of tyranny and despots. A Constitution created to ensure that the people can overthrow a ruling class that has alienated our inalienable rights.
You have asked that we come together to defend our democracy. To that we say, dear Sir, that we have. We defend our Republic through our votes, through our words, and through the fight that will never die within us. You say that one cannot be pro insurrection and pro American. To that we say, dear Sir, that you misunderstand the very essence of our Republic. You say that we must respect the guardrails of a Republic. To that we say, dear Sir, that you forget yourself. The guardrails of a Republic are the Constitution and We the People! When our leaders shred the Constitution, stoke violence to retain power and promote policy change, and label millions of Americans liars, white supremacists, and extremists, We the People declare that You Sir, have bulldozed the guardrails that confine You.
A MAGA Republican to you, is someone who believes in the beautiful ideals of a Republic; the very ideals which form the basis of our Constitution, and so you call us outrageous. You rail against the peasants who dare to hold you and our servant-government accountable and confined to the guardrails. You, Sir, are afraid. You are afraid of the power of the people. You are afraid of our rights, and you should be. For it is us that holds the power over you and over every other President and elected representative, and We the People will ensure that in this great Country, it forever remains that way.
